Business is good, so for the year 2016, I build my first diesel option. Taking knowledge from the Promaster, I went ahead and built this van with a white interior, no generator box, and thin plywood as metal walls and roof was still just a thought in my mind. Trying to stay under budget, I went with what I knew. However, there were some things that needed to be fixed. The following pictures are from rebuilding this unit in 2021. The original build was slightly different, and you can see those pics in the Mistakes section.

The Generator box prevents CO2 and other hazardous gases from reaching the rest of the van, it also allows you to install things around and about the Gen without worrying about damaging the Gen
10 Gallon Electric Water Heater has proven over time to be the smallest size container needed to have warm water for a whole groom.
AGM batteries are more cost efficient when you don't require a lot of power consumption from a 12v source. However, draining them past 25% leads to permanent damage.
Diesel Generator hours just to show that these Generators are actually good, so long as you follow proper maintenance. I had a second Generator that easily reached 9k hours.
Factory OEM metal partition is one of the best you can get if what you're trying to accomplish is a complete seal from the grooming area. However it will limit your seat travel and possible comfort.
Notice all the storage and equipment that you can mount directly on to the OEM partition , due to its thickness and quality.
The Second time around for this van I chose a light gray color for the linex, as it will resist yellowing much better than white.
This table is not new, it had been used for 5 years by the time these photos where taken.
The Tub in this install is Stainless steel, however the walls are still plywood.
However the plywood used in this unit was 3 times thinner than the plywood used on the promaster. Helping with weight and overall look.
The storage solution that has worked best for me, has been Milwaukee Packout. Of course you can customize to your needs and/or go with other brands out there offering similar products.
The small wall mounted Vacuum used here is great for space saving, however the size of the hose oppening could be bigger to facilitate the suction needed for wet dog hair.
The LEDs in this van where sourced locally and have a better level of brightness compared to the Promaster
